and negotiate deals for live booking engagements for artists and performers. Most music booking agencies have established
relationships with clubs venues, promoters, and also people and organizations that hire talent for live events, and in general
charge a 10% commission. Booking agents work with promoters, event coordinators,
clubs, concert tour specialists, record labels, and independents to assist in getting live performance work for music acts.
A good booking agent is essential when it comes to keeping a live performer working.
